
Kim Rounds: Marketing and Sales


Kim got her start in showing and riding horses at a young age. Originally from Northern California, Kim showed "A" Circuit show jumpers across the Western United States and Canada. While showing, Kim also worked as a groom for her trainer and international show jumper, Sarah Ballou. Outside of the show ring, Kim's family owns and runs a cow-calf operation where she learned to work cattle, rope, and start colts, all from the back of a horse. After high school, Kim attended Colorado State University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Animal and Equine Sciences. While at CSU, she served as a teaching assistant for the horse training courses and worked with the Legends of Ranching Performance Horse Sale for multiple years. Kim is very competitive in the National Reined Cowhorse Association and has expanded her network of industry friends into Texas and Arizona. Kim prides herself on her diverse background in the industry and her attention to detail whether in daily maintenance or turning horses out for the show ring. Kim currently resides Eaton, Colorado and works as the head of marketing and sales for Shining KL Partners.


Logan Stetson: Head Trainer


Throughout his career, Logan has been involved in multiple breeds and disciplines. Out of high school, Logan went to Oklahoma State Horseshoeing School and has since worked under some of the best farriers in Colorado. Logan also has trained gaited horses, driven teams, worked racehorses in Australia, started colts in Nevada, and worked as Head Wrangler with the Round Up Riders of the Rockies. Logan has been influenced in his strengths and training styles by many of the people whom he has worked for. Logan's more recent positions, including working for friend and renowned cow horse trainer, Tommy Thompson, in Southern California. Since working for Tommy and Amanda, Logan has become the assistant trainer at Nemmer's Performance Horses. Here, Logan has learned to prepare horses for a multitude of events. His main focus is on Ranch Riding, Reining, and Cow Horse. Logan prides himself on his dedication to learning, never missing a chance to try something new or learn from another professional. His most recent success has been in the Ranch Riding, qualifying multiple horses for the AQHA World Show and showing around the country. Logan is currently the assistant trainer at Nemmer's Performance Horses and is the head trainer for Shining KL Partners.
